IdeaRender (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by ByteVisions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”). Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described herein.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture (if provided via Google Sign-In).
User Content: Text prompts, voice input transcriptions, and photos you upload for AI-powered visualizations. Voice recordings are processed on-device and are not stored on our servers.
Generated Content: AI-generated images created from your prompts are stored in your account and on our servers.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, generation requests, timestamps, device type, operating system, and browser information.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe. We do not directly store your credit card details. We receive transaction confirmations and subscription status from these providers.
3. AI Processing Disclosure
Your text prompts and uploaded images are sent to third-party AI model providers (including OpenAI) to generate visualizations. These providers process your data according to their own privacy policies. We do not use your prompts or images to train AI models. Generated images are stored on our infrastructure (Supabase/AWS) and are accessible only to you unless you choose to share them publicly via the Community Gallery.

- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To process your AI visualization requests
- To manage your account and subscription
- To send transactional communications (e.g., billing receipts, account alerts)
- To improve our templates and Service quality
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- AI Providers: OpenAI for image generation (prompts and uploaded images)
- Infrastructure Providers: Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel (hosting)
- Payment Processors: Stripe, Apple, Google for billing
- Analytics: Anonymized usage analytics for service improvement
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, and OAuth 2.0/OIDC for authentication. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
Your account data and generated images are retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 90 days. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Data portability (export your data)
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent for data processing

9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete that information.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. We use Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers as required by applicable law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
